Marc Jacobs Daisy perfume is a youthful, breezy and lighthearted scent that comes in a very cute bottle with white plastic petals. I was curious to try it mainly because daisies themselves have no scent and wanted to see what interpretation Marc Jacobs would project on to this delightful flower.
It starts with top notes of wild strawberry and ruby red grapefruit, Â followed by heart notes of jasmine, gardenia and jasmine, ending in a woodsy, musky, vanilla base. Sniffing it brought visions of a gentle breeze blowing through a meadow of wildflowers and a young blond girl running through the field in a white eyelet dress.
Marc Jacobs Daisy is a very likable, unchallenging perfume that will be best appreciated by the under 25 year old set. There is nothing offensive about it but nothing that really stands out about it either, other than the adorable bottle.
If you’re looking for an innocent, playful scent and especially if you like Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue, this is worth checking out.
A 3.4 oz. bottle costs around $55.00.
