I don’t know about you but by the time March rolls around I am more than ready. I love summer, happily ease into fall, but after 4 long months of less than pleasant weather I am literally dying for a little rebirth of rejuvenating spring! I even embrace spring showers, knowing that my garden (though not my hair) will benefit from it.
I also see spring as an opportunity refresh my fragrance wardrobe . Spring is the perfect time to add something light, refreshing and new to the repertoire 🙂
With that in mind…here are my 7 best perfume picks to kick off spring going into summer:
1. Aerin Lilac Path – Infused with the intoxicating scents of lilac and jasmine, this reminds me of a perfect day in Paris in the springtime. For the past few years I have been addicted to Aerin’s Waterlily Sun but this one is on par, possibly even better, if you want floral, fresh and uncomplicated. (Around $130)
2. Clean-Air – With bergamot, peony and freesia notes and a something slightly woody, it’s effect is fresh, airy and sensual. Perfect for layering too. (Around $40)
3. Jo Malone, English Pear & Freesia – Another great fragrance to the collection, it smells exactly as you’d imagine. Feminine, discreet and not at all overly sweet or cloying. (Around $72)
4. Roberto Cavalli, Acqua – A bewitching blend of Lily of the Valley and jasmine, it exudes romance and seduction in the most subtle and classy way. (Around $50)
5. Viktor & Rolf, Flowerbomb – A wonderful blend of jasmine, rose, freesia, orchid and patchouli, this is refreshing with a little kick to it (Around $100)
6. Kate Walsh, Billionaire Boyfriend – Despite the cringe-worthy name, this is a keeper. A mix of tangerine, gardenia, vetiver, patchouli and sandalwood apparently sealed the deal. Rich and androgynous. (Around $45)
7. Paco Rabanne, Calandre – Been around forever but always in fashion. It’s main notes are green forest and lemon. If you are looking for a classic energetic scent that’s not too sweet or fruity this could be for you. Unfortunately not too many department stores still stock it so it may be a hunt. (Around $50)
I hope that at least one of these will make you blissfully happy. May they bring out your hibernating inner vixen and prompt you to bat those eyelashes!
Please bear in mind that prices will vary depending on where purchased as well as size/ type of product.
Enjoy sniffing and beguiling! HAPPY SPRING !!!
These perfumes all sound really wonderful! I really wish I had the extra cash to get some of these, but hopefully in the near future I can definitely come back and order these! I like that you broke down the review part of the product and made it clear and simple for your audience. Short and sweet! What’s your absolute favorite one?
Hi Megan,
I don’t have a favorite but I really really like Aerin Lilac Path. I fell in love with Aerin Waterlily Sun a couple of years ago so I was anxious to try this when it came out. I know none of these fragrances are inexpensive so I would strongly suggest that you try a sample of any of these before making a purchase. Thanks for dropping by!
Great review on the seven best spring perfumes. I like how you broke it down and kept it to seven. I will definitely have to have my girlfriend check out some of these perfumes and smell them in person. I love the look of your blog and you’re doing a great job. Keep up the good work!
Joe,
I’m happy you enjoyed reading my spring fragrance recommendations. I hope that your lucky lady will find at least one that she is wild about!
